Hmmm another lip review… what am I going to do with myself lol
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better than the Cremesheen finish MAC goes off and brings out Cremesheen + Pearl Lipstick. Basically what they’ve gone and done, is taken the Cremesheen finish and frosted it (which makes me think of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days – Frost Yourself! Or maybe cupcakes).
In addition to 7 new shades of Cremesheen Glass (to be reviewed), there are 8 new shades of lipsticks – all Asian-inspired. Of the 8, I have 7 here to share with you – Peach Blossom, Sunny Seoul, Pink Pearl Pop, Japanese Maple, Shanghai Spice, Coral Bliss, and Saigon Summer. The only one I’m missing is Pure Zen, and I do plan to pick it up on the next mall trip with my B2M empties 😉
In the swatches below (arm and lip) the lipstick is applied heavily. It really didn’t do any good to show off sheer shots, since with just one swipe you don’t get much color.
What the MAC website has to say about Cremesheen + Pearl Lipstick:
Lipstick that lavishes lips with everything they love and more. Superior colours with rich creamy texture mold and hold to lips while natural conditioning agents lock in moisture for a soft cushion and comfort. Light reflecting pearls add amazing high shine and shimmer.

Peach Blossom
Peach Blossom is described as a frosted cool nude. It’s really more of a peachy pink shade, very close to Sunny Seoul on the arm, but less pink on the lips.
Sunny Seoul
Sunny Seoul is described as a frosted light warm pink. I feel the description is pretty spot on for this one. As you layer it the pink pigment shows up more.
Pink Pearl Pop
Pink Pearl Pop is described as a frosted midtonal pink. The name for this one is so appropriate… because it truly is a pop of pink!

(L-R: Japanese Maple, Shanghai Spice, Coral Bliss, Saigon Summer)
Japanese Maple
Japanese Maple is described as a frosted light beige. This is that so perfect shade to wear with anything, any day of the week. Neutral and smoky looks alike!
Shanghai Spice
Shanghai Spice is described as a frosted neutral pink. This has a very light rose tint to it, and should be a nice MLBB (my lips but better) shade for most.
Coral Bliss
Coral Bliss is described as a frosted light coral. Perfect description. I would love this shade as a day lip for warmer weather.
Saigon Summer
Saigon Summer is described as a frosted bright orange. Not super bright, but if you’ve been interested in a bold and loud lip, this is a good one to cut your teeth on. Speaking of teeth, mine are pretty white and this one made them look crazy yellow. Food for thought!
All of these shades lean on the sheer side, but you can layer them to achieve a fairly decent amount of pigment (especially with Saigon Summer). They’re a lot more friendly-for-all than the regular cremesheen finish. These lipsticks are slightly moisturizing and will give the lips a nice, supple look. Wear wise, it’s a little less than a regular cremesheen, since they’re on the glossier side, so around 2 hours for me.
Frosty is in the description for all of these, but you’ve nothing to fear unless sheen (not the Charlie kind) terrifies you.

MAC Cremesheen + Pearl Lipstick retails for $15.00 and can be found online at maccosmetics.com as well as at your local MAC counter (try Nordstrom) or store. These lipsticks are part of the permanent line.

Since next month I’ll be celabrating my birthday, I’m seriously thinking about getting one or two MAC lipsticks. I didn’t knew what colors, but after seeing this ones, I finally found my perfect pink lisptics!!
I also wanted a blush, but I’m a bit insecure about that one D:

Your English was great! Do you not usually wear blushes? It’s addicting! Once you start you’ll need all of the blushes in the world lol
