For Holiday 2012 Chanel has certainly created some magnificent pieces for their Éclats Du Soir De Chanel Collection.
My favorite piece is without a doubt the Regard Signe de Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Harmonie du Soir. I adore a quilted pattern, and while I like the simplicity and clean lines of the square pans that we generally see in US Chanel palettes, the metallic shades in the round pan with the double C’s… *sigh* gets me every time.
What the Nordstrom website has to say about the Chanel HARMONIE DU SOIR Regard Signe de Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow:
A limited-edition, holiday-inspired quartet offers endless looks of festive glamour. Deep, dense bronze-gold with a radiant sheen complements colors from violet-plum red to smoky taupe to pink. Embossed with a quilted effect and the CHANEL monogram, each powder eyeshadow is reminiscent of the classic CHANEL jacket button.
Harmonie du Soir is the epitome of a stunning Holiday eye look. The gold, taupey brown, glimmering pale pink, and showy burgundy flow together seamlessly. The eye shadow formula of this palette is buttery smooth and the pigment is amazing. One of the best Chanel has ever offered.
For this EOTD I began by dusting the pale pink from lid to brow. I then applied the taupe to the crease and the burgundy to the outer third of the eye. The gold was placed above the crease, blending upward and a bit into the inner third of the eye. The liner is MAC Orpheus Kohl Power and the mascara is Chanel Le Volume de Chanel.
The Chanel Harmonie du Soir Regard Signe de Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow retails for $65.00. You can purchase this at Nordstrom, Macy’s and Neiman Marcus, as well as at other high-end department stores and chanel.com.
