This month, China Glaze has released a collection of 12 limited edition shades inspired by Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away.  Of the 12 shades, I have six to share with you in It’s a Trap-eze, Water You Waiting For, Get Carried Away, Whirled Away, Bend Over Backwards and Igniting Love.

025It’s a Trap-eze!

ItsATrapFLASH(in shade, with flash)

ItsATrapSHADE(in shade, no flash)

ItsATrapSUN(in sun, no flash)

ItsATrapMACROIt’s a Trap-eze! has a milky white base loaded with lots of fun, circus-y hex glitters of different colors and sizes.  It’s a bit temperamental, but I LOVE the shade and have never seen anything quite like it.  I used three coats of polish in the photos.

Water You Waiting For

WaterFLASH(in shade, with flash)

WaterSHADE(in shade, no flash)

WaterSUN(in sun, no flash)

WaterMACROWater You Waiting For is an opaque in three coats multi-sized blue, green, and indigo glitters.  The formula was nice and easy to work with.  This is one of those shades that is just so beautiful that you can’t stop looking at it.  A must have!

Get Carried Away

GetCarriedGet Carried Away has a sheer black, almost clear type base and is filled with small silver glitters and large hex glitters in orange, silver and black as well as black bar glitter.  It reminds me of Halloween!  I did four coats on the pointer finger, three coats on the middle finger, two coats on the ring finger and one coat on the pinkie finger.  I don’t like it layered, so I recommend using this one with just one coat over another polish.

Whirled Away

WhirledWhirled Away has a clear base with a sparse amount of large white hex glitter It reminds me of musical notes… and Mickey Mouse.  I only did one coat over top of Igniting Love because layering it just looked nightmarish.  I think it looks like a nice mani, but this polish was a real pain to work with.  Sometimes I got nothing on the brush and I had to play around and dip and muss…. just not something I care to do.

Bend Over Backwards

BendOverBend Over Backwards is a nice orange red shimmer.  It was easy to apply but does have minor streaking.  I used two coats for full opacity, but it was almost okay in one.

Igniting Love

IgnitingIgniting Love is a phenomenally gorgeous hot red jelly.  One coat looked okay, but two coats (shown above) really give it the va-va-voom and will help cover the visible nail line more.

Definitely pick up It’s a Trap-eze and Water You Waiting For.  If you don’t have anything similar also grab up Igniting Love and Bend Over Backwards.  Unless you like to play with your polish sparkles, skip on Whirled Away and Get Carried Away.
