Perusing blogs one day I came upon Benefit Dallas Bronzer.  I’d always heard about it… seen it…. but never bought it because it looked so dark.  I forget which blog I saw it on, but when the girl wore it I was blown away.  She looked stunning and it was so fresh on her.  Had to have it.  On my list it went, and … spoiler alert…  I love it!

IMG_8676What Sephora says about Benefit Dallas:

It’s an outdoor glow for the indoor gal! Benefit’s newest pressed powder is a sun-kissed rose glow for rich, enviable beauty in a box. Sweep Dallas across cheeks, chin, and forehead to lift away signs of dullness and give your complexion a naturally radiant and vibrant glow—so sheer, it’s a wash of color that will benefit just about every skin tone.

The pigment is definitely buildable but I feel like this is meant to look more sheer than noticeable.  This is such a love for me I can’t believe I waited so long to purchase!

The packaging is that cardboard box that flips up.  There is a small mirror inside and a brush (that I don’t like to use ever).  What I’ve never liked about Benefit Blushes is that they are deep inside the box and it’s a little awkward.  I know it’s like that to house the brush, but I’d love to see the powder raised higher… maybe a little more product for the price… and nix the brush.

I have heard so many complaints about this packaging over the life of my blog (since 2009!) and I’m really surprised nothing has been changed about it. I love the decor of the box, it’s just awkward to work around.
