This month NARS introduces 20 shades of the Radiant Cream Compact Foundation. This formulation promises to be supple, weightless and glowing with the option of being able to wear wet or dry.
What the NARS website says about the Radiant Cream Compact Foundation:
New NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation brilliantly evens skin with a lightweight, luminous finish. Combining the supple feel of a cream foundation with the sleek ease of a portable compact, the Advanced Emulsion Technology formula may be applied wet or dry for artistic versatility. Blending seamlessly with weightless medium buildable coverage, skin feels soft and comfortable with moisture levels boosted by 80% after 12 hours, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and enhancing skin’s radiance.
Includes a Radiant Cream Compact Foundation Sponge.
Deauville is light with neutral balance of pink and yellow undertones. Punjab is medium with golden, peachy undertone.
Wearing this foundation does give a light, yet buildable coverage giving you complexion perfection! If you’d like to apply it wet, note that the coverage will be a bit heavier. The formula was smooth and easy to buff on to the face. I got about 8 hours of wear before it started to dull and fade. However, the flat, rubber, portable compact makes it easy to cart along with you for quick touch-ups.
With formulas like this I personally love to apply with a flat Kabuki (like the Sigma F80 or the IT Cosmetics Brush Heavenly Luxe Buffing Airbrush Foundation Brush). It gives a more airbrushed application and buffs onto the face providing a completely even and flawless finish.

NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation retails for $38.00 (the refillable compact is $10.00) and is available beginning August 1 at NARS Boutiques and narscosmetics.com.
