With the release of the 2012 collection of Heavenly Creature, we’re introduced to FOUR new Mineralize Blushes - Solar Ray, Stratus, Ring of Saturn, and Supernova.
What the MAC website has to say about Mineralize Blush:
Baked minerals refined into a powder formula to provide exceptionally sheer and lightweight application. Colour builds lightly, layer after layer, without heavy coverage. Veils and enhances the cheekbones with a luminous, pearlized shimmer.
3.2 g / 0.10 US oz
Solar Ray is described as a peach and gold melange. The gold going in just enough to make this shade uber peach and a magnificent highlighter. It’s very shimmery and paler girls will like to use this one for a blush.
Stratus
Stratus is described as an amethyst and gold brown melange. I thought it would be a lot darker than it is, but when used lightly it offers up a great plum tint for your cheeks. The shimmer is there, but not as loud as with Solar Ray.
Mineralized Blush applies lightly, as a natural and buildable color for the cheeks. It’s easy to get carried away, but really all you need to do with pigmented shades like Stratus is swirl it on the apples of your cheeks and blend up. Highlight with Solar Ray!
