what is it
The L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara is described as being their “first mascara for voluptuous volume and length. The soft wavy bristle brush holds maximum formula for a dramatic volumizing charge.”
There is a regular version and a waterproof version. For this review I was sent the waterproof version, so that is what I was able to test and what the review below is based on.

Below is a shot of my lashes with nothing on them (left) and then with two coats of the L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara (right). There is no lash primer or lash curler used.
final thoughts
Generally I’m no fan of waterproof mascara. It doesn’t seem to do anything for me or my lashes. BUT this new mascara from L’Oreal does ALL the things for my lashes… lift, curl, volume… plus it stays on through anything yet still removes easily (not as easy as non-waterproof, but easier than most other waterproof mascaras I’ve tried). I’m currently using the Up & Up Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover to remove all things eye makeup. I saturate a round cotton pad and press that pad to my closed eye for a few seconds and then I swipe the product away. To remove this mascara completely I just do that one more time.
With one coat I get a nice, natural lash look (which I’ve been going for these past few days because it’s been so hot and makeup has been very minimal), with two coats I get some more oomph and with three coats I get that drama I’d want for a night out.

So excited to track this pretty girl down! I’ve been looking for a replacement for my BTS by TooFaced ever since Mr.Blandino started acting like the brands name!
LOL! Well this is definitely a good one! If you like mega thick like BTS and don’t mind the price point try IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara, too! This L’Oreal is awesome, particularly for drugstore and it’s a waterproof go-to. But when I want the drama I head for IT >>> my review (before and after at the bottom)
The tube is so pretty! I am so gullible to lovely packaging. For years I used L’Oreal Voluminous waterproof mascara, but once my lashes started getting thinner/finer with age, it made them too stiff/brittle. Wonder if this is more hydrating. I just tried out Guerlain Maxilash Volumizing and Curliing mascara and it’s very wet/heavy, so I end up with spikes and stick straight lashes that won’t hold a curl (even if I gently curl after mascara).
I can’t stand wet mascaras. PUR had one when I first started working for them that I couldn’t even recommend to people when I was in-store at ULTA. Their new one is SO MUCH BETTER. For the L’Oreal I do love their regular Voluminous (original) but this one is even better. I can’t even believe it’s waterproof! IDK if it’s hydrating, my lashes aren’t too brittle (I don’t think) but it doesn’t make them worse than they are that’s for sure lol

Thank you!! You’re the second person to say it looks like a dupe for TF! It’s definitely similar but the L’Oreal didn’t clump up my lashes as much as the TF did (though I don’t mind some clump and like the TF lol)
When this is available I’m going to buy it!
