Is a lipstick palette better than owning individual shades? I’ve never been a huge fan of my lip colors all living together in a palette because it can get so messy.
That being said I’ve always been intrigued by makeup brands that use the 7 deadly sins as inspiration. This Fall NARS is introducing the 7 Deadly Sins Audacious Lipstick Palette giving a nod to Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth.

The NARS 7 Deadly Sins Audacious Lipstick Palette includes seven shades of what is, IMO, one of the best lipstick formulas on the market today.

Shades include: Pride (tan pink), Disobedience (pink candy), Idolatry (nude peachy pink), Foolishness (vivid crimson red), Greed (cherry pink), Wrath (burgundy red) and Sloth (deep blackberry).
Some of the shade names are slightly different than the traditional names of the 7 deadly sins, but I think you can figure out which is which.
While I’m not normally a fan of any lip palette the layout of this one makes it easy to pick up some color without making a huge mess of things. The formula is just as lovely as the regular NARS Audacious Lipsticks but the control of the lip brush makes it easier to apply more precisely and with the deeper shades a more “stained lip” looking effect.
It’s also a lot more travel-friendly than bringing seven separate lipsticks along with you.
The packaging is to die for - the general black and white color scheme of NARS but with the top being a clear plastic overtop of lip swatches of all of the included shades. It generates fingerprints as much as the usual flat matte packaging but is much easier to clean off.
Other than the fingerprints I really have no cons for this one. If you love NARS Audacious Lipstick formula and can get on board with seven of them being in a palette together it’s a no-brainer of a buy.
PLUS paying $52 for the palette of 7 vs. $34 for each individual lipstick is quite the savings.
Also, can we please get Pride as it’s own full-size tube? Pretty please?

I love the Lipstick Palette
I like palettes because you can customize a lip shade so great for going to one event or sometimes when traveling and you need a lot of looks; agree with you - easier than 7 lipsticks. But for everyday use, I dislike them, I don’t want to lug a palette in my handbag nor do I want to mess with brushes and mixing when I’m touching up during the day.
I only have the Nars Lip pencils - the matte dries my lips out and the satin disappears within 1/2 hr. I’m really into YSL at the moment.
YSL lip products feel so lovely! I love the Volupte Tint Balm!
