Makeup to Buy at the Sephora VIB Sale

November 3, 2020

It’s that time of the year that I can never resist - the Sephora VIB Beauty Sale. Which just happens to always fall around my birthday, making it the perfect time for a little beauty haul/makeup splurge!

Because I’m not a VIB Rouge anymore I had to wait until today to make my purchases. Rouge members shopped a few days early and at 20% off but I found that I didn’t have any problems getting what I wanted as a regular old VIB member with my 15% off. Beauty Insiders get 10% off and can start shopping on November 5. This sale ends for us all on November 9.

What to buy at Sephora! My latest luxury beauty shopping haul!

Since I had a little extra time to plan my shopping spree I was really able to curate my cart and get the items I’ve been interested in for awhile or that I absolutely needed to replenish. I was also able to take my time looking up swatches, reviews, makeup looks, etc to try and make a decision about what I wanted the most. This cart was over $600 when I started, which is not in my best interest lol.

Check them out below!

Sephora VIB Sale! Luxury Makeup Discounts, Info & Coupon Code

Amika Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo ($25.00). This has been my favorite dry shampoo for years. It’s pricey, so I tried my best to fall in love with a drugstore brand just as much. Some are good and I could definitely recommend them to you. But truly, they don’t hold a candle to Amika.

Charlotte Tilbury Super Nudes Easy Eyeshadow Palette ($57.00). Yup… didn’t need this at all. I’m seeing this as a grab-and-go situation. An upgrade a past fave Urban Decay Naked Basics, if you will. I said what I said.

Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer ($36.00). This one has been in my head for awhile. I used to love everything Dior, which can get anyone into some trouble. I finally bit the bullet and bought it in the shade 2N. I’m really hoping I find a new love in a concealer but still plan on continuing my search for a drugstore HG too.

Fenty Beauty Light Brown Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil & Styler ($20.00). I know, I know… I always end up going back to Benefit Precisely, My Brow… but there is just something about this one from Fenty that I’m LOVING.

I got the shade Medium Brown in my Boxycharm last month and it ended up being too dark. BUT, I loved the formula and, surprisingly, I also loved the little brush at the other end. I wouldn’t have even bothered trying this because of that brush so I’m really happy to have received it in my Boxycharm.

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation ($49.00). I can hear what you’re saying. But, YES, I really am almost out of foundation! I’ve been extremely selective lately (thanks, face masks) and since Physician’s Formula got rid of The Healthy Foundation I can’t find one at the drugstore that suits my current needs that won’t make me break out.

My ride-or-die foundation for awhile now has been the Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Foundation ($39.00) and while I do still love it I’m looking to see if an old favorite might give just a little more oomph. I used to love the NARS for a natural but decent coverage and since the shade I had here was a little too dark I decided to pick up Deauville (Light 4). If it’s not a fit I can always grab the UD (which I’d still recommend a million times over - see this review).

Pat McGrath Nude Venus Lip Fetish Divinyl Lip Shine ($36.00). In all seriousness I needed a new lip balm like a hole in the head. However, in my defense, I’ve been looking at this one for a long time (in makeup years). Since it launched it’s been in and out of my Sephora cart. Right at zero hour I watched this YouTube video from Michelle Wang and it finalized the purchase for me.

Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder ($34.00). You guys, I’ve been trying to find a dupe for this forever. Mostly because $$$. I use very litte to set underneath my eyes, but it’s a game changer. Nothing out there carries that same peach-tinted tone with the same type of formula (or better). It’s insane to me, but, here we are… bought another.

The stuff that didn’t make the cut? I tell ya, I was close to grabbing Makeup By Mario Master Mattes, Pro Volume Lip Gloss, Master Eye Prep & Set, Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Concealer Brush, Fenty Glossy Posse, Natasha Denona Glam Palette, and so much more!

Did you pick anything up at the Sephora VIB Sale this year? What’s on your wishlist?
